Our budget accommodation situated on 6 acres of natural bushland is perfect for families, friends and groups of all sizes. Our architecturally designed main building has full kitchen and dining facilities and is for all our guests use. Come and stay in comfort, and enjoy everything that Port Stephens has to offer. There’s a lot to do, so let’s get started.
Hello and thank you for your enquiry regarding accommodation at Melaleuca Surfside Backpackers. We reside at One Mile Beach a little piece of paradise within the magnificent Worimi country.
We acknowledge the Worimi people as the traditional custodians of the region and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
We do have a 4-night stay over the Christmas Holidays from 23rd Dec 2023 to 30th Jan 2024.

Shared Dorms
Budget dorms for those wishing to stay and play longer at Melaleuca.
Vans & Camping
Tonnes of space to pitch your tent and we can accomodate up to 5 camper vans.
OUR FACILITIES
Our backpacker-style facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, indoor lounge and dining area, BBQs, picnic tables and hot showers.

Our amenities are located within easy walking distance of all accommodation.

Our kitchen is equipped with cutlery & utensils, so meals can be prepared on site.
